Job Description


To participate in all aspects of the Quality process and system with the goal of improving Quality of the product. Technical responsibilities include support to customers, sales, and the Customer Service team for all AC/DC and DC/DC power supply products.  Works closely with Engineering, Customer Service, and Operations to execute sign-offs and distribute quality documentation required by key customers.



  • Ensure quality of manufactured goods
  • Inspect goods as they are finished
  • Examine materials from suppliers before sending them to production line
  • Inspect components, printed circuit boards, subassemblies, and assemblies
  • Perform visual inspections
  • Take samples for testing.
  • Record pass/fail grade of products
  • Produce detailed reports
  • Count number of products tested or inspected
  • Compare color, shape, texture, or grade of product or material with color chart, template, or sample to ensure consistency
  • Support the Quality Control Function:
    • QC Inspector: Performs 1st Piece Inspection of sub-assemblies & Production methods,
    • QC Inspector: Verifies the proper set-up of Production test equipment by the Test Equipment Engineer.
    • Makes the authorization to ship the units. Signs Move Ticket to represent approval to ship.  (QC Production Package Final page sign off)
    • QC Inspector: Trains Production Testers of the use of the production test equipment on each job.



  • Technical School Degree preferred.
  • Background in assembly manufacturing, preferably in power supplies or other related Electro-Mechanical operations.
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 a plus.
  • Knowledge & use of Electrical Test Equipment and mechanical measuring devices.
  • The individual in this position must be fluent in writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • The ability to effectively communicate product concepts and attributes.
