Job Description

An MEA I will handle inbound and outbound calls with members enrolled in all NationsHearing programs.  This is the perfect opportunity to use your consultative sales skills to make a difference in our member’s lives.  These Members will likely have hearing loss and on average waited 7-10 years to act on treating their hearing loss.  You will have the opportunity to sell hearing devices that significantly improve the lives of our Members.  Your success will be measured on Call Quality, Appointments scheduled and closed leads.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish rapport quickly to gain an understanding of the member’s problems or concerns
  • Utilize interpersonal skills to establish a strong relationship that allow for direct probing to uncover the member’s needs
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to influence the member to take action
  • Ability to learn product portfolio quickly and discuss options and features in detail
  • Provide knowledge and in-depth advice for hearing loss and hearing aids
  • Confidently and accurately explain hearing health plan benefits
  • Educate members on products or services that will enhance their quality of life
  • Show empathy both in word choice and intonation to all Members
  • Strong ability to offer a sales rebuttal that address a members objections and in turn present solutions 
  • Act as the liaison between the member and provider
  • Knowledge of insurance, Medicare and Medicaid
  • Ability to explain medical processes and procedures while giving clear, concise, step-by-step direction to members.
  • Ability to remain confidential with all proprietary information
  • Adhere to all company, HIPAA and MCO / Medicare guidelines.
  • Resolve member inquiries at the first point of contact
  • Evaluate each account using supporting technology
  • Competitive and self-motivated

 

Requirements and Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.  Minimum 1-year experience in customer service and sales experience. 2+ sales experience is a plus!!
