Job Description

Interactive College of Technology, a local accredited 2-year degree granting institution, has an immediate opening for an Admissions Associate located at the North Houston Campus. This position is responsible for identifying and interviewing qualified students relative to programs of study which meet the student’s interests and career goals. Enrollment practices must be ethical and in compliance with State, Department of Education and accreditation regulations at all times. This fast pace environment that will require evening hours and some weekends.

Must be fluent in English and Spanish to be interviewed.

Job duties:

  • Ability and Desire to make extensive outbound phone calls to prospective students using approved company phone outlines to set appointments.
  • Set minimum required weekly appointments, interviews and campus tours, and enroll prospective students
  • Generate minimum company required self-developed leads per week
  • Complete all enrollment paperwork according to company policy
  • Follow-up on each person enrolled prior to start date to ensure newly enrolled students attend orientation.
  • Follow-up with students and seek referrals
  • Call and mail old leads and participate in the community development program.
  • Assist in student retention by providing daily attendance follow-up on all Representative’s current students
  • Complete Activity Reports weekly
  • Occasionally provide informational presentations to various groups


  • Excellent phone, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Previous Inside sales experience that included personal appointment setting.
  • Results oriented and focused on outcomes and accomplishments.
  • Must understand accountability for your activity generation.
  • Positive team-centered attitude with professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must have excellent time management skills.
  • Must enjoy working on the phone and in the community.
  • Must have excellent tracking and follow-up skills; computer database system experience strongly preferred.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Some College required, Associates Degree or above preferred.
