Full time Manufacturing/Operations

Job Description

Inspector Packer

We have an opportunity for you! Starting pay: $13.05!

Our employees manufacture some of the most recognizable products in the world, making Dart a global leader in food and beverage packaging. That’s a source of pride for everyone at Dart, but it’s not the only one!

Dart has been family owned and operated for more than 60 years with a foundation built on honesty, teamwork and respect. We’ve created a workplace where people who share our values can find success. And because we know most people want more out of their jobs than just a paycheck, we're proud of the many benefits of working at Dart, including:

  • 12 hour schedules working with a diverse group of individuals
  • Full tuition reimbursement after one year of employment
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • Comprehensive benefit package, including health, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account, 401K and wellness incentives

Dart is looking for individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment that involves working with and around moving machinery. As an INSPECTOR PACKER, you play a critical role in providing our customers with a quality product.

A Day in the Life at Dart:

Being part of Dart means being part of a team. As a valued member of that team, in your day-to-day role you will experience:

  • A culture built on safety
  • Team members who will help you learn and support you throughout your Dart career
  • A relaxed dress code so you’ll feel comfortable (but safe) while working

Because this is a manufacturing environment, you’ll be exposed to varying noise levels (hearing protection will be provided) and higher than usual temperatures. Additionally, Safety shoes (steel toe or composite) are required!

Who is our ideal candidate?

We're looking for someone who places safety above all else and seeks the best way to do things rather than accept the status quo. They understand that a positive outlook and working well with others will set the stage for long-term success for themselves and the business.

Six (6) months manufacturing experience inspecting, packing and stacking products preferred.

Must have the ability to multi-task and work in an ever changing fast paced environment.

Must be able to demonstrate minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.

Must have a good attendance record and work history.

Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
