 A DAY IN THE LIFE

 In this role, you will…

 

  • Manage a portfolio of open title issues that require resolution
  • Update clients regularly via email and internal servicing systems
  • Discuss judgments and liens with the right parties
  • Review preliminary title reports to determine if any irregularities exist
  • Determine solutions and work to facilitate
  • Understand and anticipate trends enabling the default business lines to be proactive
  • Develop new and enhance existing controls that can be monitored daily
  • Ensure the meeting of key performance indicators to consistently exceed consumer and client expectations

DETAILED JOB DUTIES

 

  • Daily monitoring of pipeline of loans identified with title issues
  • Communicate with Foreclosure Attorneys and Title Companies daily to facilitate resolution
  • Daily updating of internal systems
  • Routine research on root cause for title issues
  • Monitor for trends and assist in the creation of solutions to identify loans that may have potential issues
  • Routine communication with internal departments and clients
  • Ability to analyze operational gaps in order to create, implement and maintain controls
  • Impeccable time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in Default/REO Title Curative work
  • Practical office experience
  • Knowledge of Default and REO
  • Analytical ability sufficient to be able to identify problems
  • Proficient in the Microsoft software products
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers, company managers, and customers in a team environment to attain common goals
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally, in person and by telephone, with all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in the use of Black Knight products including but not limited to MSP and LoanSphere

 

 

WORK CONDITIONS

 Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Must have the ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary. Some travel may be required.
