DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Provides administrative support to the Vice President of Human Resources, Manager of Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources Generalist. On-boards new hires through HRIS system and does initial new hire orientation. Administers payroll and accurately enters pay and expense information. Posts benefits and 401(k) changes to the payroll system. Posts jobs through HRIS or other websites. Schedules interviews and escorts interviewees. Schedules travel for interviews. Creates offer letters. Initiates drug and background tests. Coordinates and assists with scheduling employee engagement events (picnics, holiday parties, lunches, etc.). Schedules travel for visiting guests. Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates. QUALIFICATIONS: HR assistant experience. Payroll experience (Paylocity a plus but not required). Strong MS Office Skills Tenacity Ability to work independently. Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting or standing at a desk while using the phone and computer. Occasionally lifting of up to 20lbs.
