What you will do Expand Revenue and Market Share Close new business to achieve desired customer objectives and fulfill Vonage's revenue goals for the territory. Identify and engage with potential and current customers through cold-calling, in-person meetings and presentations, and by partnering with vendors and manufacturers. Develop and nurture solid business relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts. Maintain a targeted understanding of customers' business by understanding their requirements and buying cycles. Educate customers about Vonage's products, services and business solutions. Account Planning & Customer Presentation Collaborate on sales strategies, discuss account trends, advise on changes and coordinate quotes and sales opportunities with account managers on a regular and recurring basis. Analyze assigned account base to determine key areas of opportunity. Create and present sales and revenue forecasts based on account base analysis. Develop and execute business development plans to drive revenue and profits. Team Collaboration Collaborate across sales organization to ensure timely and accurate quote provision and order processing. Work with engineering and technical teams on project scope, managing and reconciling demands across diverse functional teams to achieve desired results for the benefit of the client. Support implementation through ongoing and supportive customer contact, ensuring a smooth transition to account management and customer success management post-implementation. What is required for application Required: Prior experience (1-2 years) in consultative, solution selling to business clients or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a business, technology or related discipline.
